HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
The program is available to anyone who wants to get involved:

  1. Register with Terracycle
  2. Collect used coffee pods in any available box
  3. Print a free postage label and send to Terracycle via Australia Post

The plastic is recycled into a variety of new products, like benches, picnic tables, and even playgrounds.

WHY NOT BIODEGRADABLE PODS?
Biodegradable (Compostable) capsules require specific, commercial composting conditions to break down, which isn’t available in most local council facilities.Less than 1% of these capsules make it to commercial composting. Instead, they end up in landfill.
