Red Apple, Orange, Almond

Our roaster Mike traded the Northern Beaches for the rolling hills of Sul de Minas, Brazil. His destination? Fazenda Passeio; a family-run farm with heart, heritage where this single origin was grown.

Led by Adolfo Vieira Ferreira (coffee legend, solar-power fan, all-round good bloke), this place is all about doing things the right way. Hand-harvested cherries. Eco-friendly gear. Support for the local community. And it shows in the cup.

This natural-processed lot brings notes of red apple, orange acidity and a clean almond finish. It’s vibrant, balanced and perfectly suited for both espresso and filter brewing.

More About The Coffee

This coffee comes from Fazenda Passeio, a family-run farm nestled high in the hills of Sul de Minas, Brazil. Sitting at elevations between 1,100 and 1,200 metres, the farm spans 130 hectares of rich volcanic soil, ideal for producing clean, complex coffees. Under the watchful eye of Adolfo Vieira Ferreira, the team hand-harvests ripe cherries before sun-drying them on patios in the traditional natural style. Sustainability is baked into every step; from solar-powered equipment to community-driven programs and reforestation efforts.

Our roaster Mike got to walk the fields, see the harvest in action, and talk shop with Adolfo about farming practices, sustainability, and what makes this region’s coffee so special. Now, that same coffee Mike saw at its source has made the long trip to our roastery… The result? A vibrant cup with red apple sweetness, zesty orange acidity, and a clean almond finish. Balanced, bright, and just as stunning as the place it comes from.
