More About The Coffee
This coffee comes from Fazenda Passeio, a family-run farm nestled high in the hills of Sul de Minas, Brazil. Sitting at elevations between 1,100 and 1,200 metres, the farm spans 130 hectares of rich volcanic soil, ideal for producing clean, complex coffees. Under the watchful eye of Adolfo Vieira Ferreira, the team hand-harvests ripe cherries before sun-drying them on patios in the traditional natural style. Sustainability is baked into every step; from solar-powered equipment to community-driven programs and reforestation efforts.
Our roaster Mike got to walk the fields, see the harvest in action, and talk shop with Adolfo about farming practices, sustainability, and what makes this region’s coffee so special. Now, that same coffee Mike saw at its source has made the long trip to our roastery… The result? A vibrant cup with red apple sweetness, zesty orange acidity, and a clean almond finish. Balanced, bright, and just as stunning as the place it comes from.
