Compostable Packaging Facts
The Seven Miles Classic pods completely break down within 26 weeks at ambient temperature (20 to 30 degrees) in a home compost environment. Most of the compost capsules on the market are industrial compostable coffee capsules, which means they need a very specific environment and often many years to break down. The other problem is that they are made from a mix of bio- and fossil-based material, with very poor quality due to almost no barrier to oxygen.
Our 100% biobased coffee capsules ensure a perfect result in the cup thanks to a barrier to oxygen level and a totally innovative compostable top lid. This special top lid has similar properties to the original aluminium lid, meaning the coffee is brewed perfectly in the machine with a great body and thick crema. Our capsules are made from a new generation of biopolymer: natural materials produced by the microorganism fermentation process, in which plant oil and its fatty acid are used as the primary material. We believe protecting flavour and aroma is key for the success of our pods.
Our compostable capsules are certified by independent third parties like TÜV AUSTRIA, DinCertco, ABA, and BPI.
The pods come in a cardboard box which can be placed in your kerbside recycling.
All of this delivers an exceptional coffee experience and represents a significant step towards a fossil-free future.
Machine Compatibility
Our pods work with machines compatible with the original Nespresso®* system only. These pods won’t work with any other system, including Vertuo, Dolce Gusto, Aldi, or commercial pod systems.

My favourite coffee is the Cat’s Pyjamas but it doesn’t come in a pod but the Classic Roast is a great one too.
Have tried many compostable pods but haven't managed to find one that also has a coffee that I love...but I think I've found it with 7Mile! The coffee is really good and I'll def be ordering again!

I hadn't used the pods previously, although I have had a coffee with your beans. Loved the coffee choices options available for a long black. I can recommend the smooth flavour of these pods, with no bitter after taste. Perfect for a double shot!
My coffee of choice is The Cat’s Pyjamas but you don’t make that in a pod . The Classic Roast is very good.
I ordered the pods for the first time thinking I was getting Cats Pyjamas pods for my sister but when they arrived they were seven miles pods. Gave them to my sister and she absolutely loved them. Thank you so much. We have a coffee machine so we have been getting Cats Pyjamas beans for ages. They are the best bean ever!! We have tried various different beans and nothing compares to Cats Pyjamas. I only wish they made pods as well. Thanks so much guys for your outstanding service.

This has to be one of the best coffee pods.
Tried many different types of pods, even the flavored ones... none of them hit the notes like the coffee from Melbourne café except 7miles! Wouldn't change for other brand now!
Best tasting coffee pods around!
I'm not good at describing coffee and how it tastes, I just know whether I like it or not. And I like Seven Miles! I just have a pod coffee machine so have only ordered the pods (both types), and I like them equally. They have a great coffee flavour, smooth, easy to drink and very enjoyable. Delivery is always super-quick and customer service is excellent. Can't fault the company or the coffee which is why I'm a subscriber.
